FLUORINATED SOLVENTS AND THEIR REPLACEMENTS
1,1,3, Fluorocarbon Solvent should by now have been replaced as a cleaning agent. It was generally replaced by HCFC 141B Solvents which were introduced as a "stop gap measure" in the absence of other useful products.
HCFC Solvents will be phased out as cleaning agents, as they also have an ODP, in 2002 or in the case of Defence Organisations and their Suppliers 2007.
